Six months FLY by...and these last six months, in particular! While I have been on maternity leave after welcoming our little guy in early January, we have also been moving into a new home, with some space to photograph sweet faces like this one. While I am not officially shooting again until April, this little miss hit her six-month milestone in late February, so we captured her third Baby Plan session...can't believe the next time I see her, she will be ONE!
It is so fun to follow not just a baby, but her whole family over the course of more than a year. From shooting bump photos with Mom and Dad in the East Village last summer to C's newborn shots in August, catching up at each session in so much fun!
It's so fun to hear the stories behind props or outfits that parents bring along. Here, Baby Girl is looking at herself in her great grandmother's mirror, wearing her pearls! Mom had a great idea to try a shot in her own wedding shoes, but as it goes with babes, not every shot comes together as planned :) (But sure makes for a darling outtake!)
This little lady hasn't yet developed her love of shoes like Mom...for now she prefers barefoot. :)
Six months is a fun age to photograph because little personalities are starting to show through! I love that we could capture some shots of this little girl's love of reading with one of her favorite books...
So good to see you, sweet girl. I can't wait for our summer session to celebrate your first birthday!
